Korean Lens (Geo CM902)

2015... Its a brand new year,,,
And I have a review on the latest colored lens from Korea... The biggest circle colored contact lens in Korea - The Geo series.

*Disclaimer
I did not shave... LOL.. and I did not edit the pics. No filter at all. Taken from my iPhone.

These are the specification
Lens: Geo Contact Lens
Model : CM902 aka Tri Color Brown aka Berry Chessy
Diameter : 14.2mm
Base curve : 8.60mm

There are a lot of reviews and a lot of wearers have nothing but praise for these lens! Yes. It is very hazel in color. At times, it has that tinge of green and light brown. I would have to add, it is much lighter than Freshlook Colorblends Hazel.

I would say the color is very natural, unless someone literally comes into your personal space. It is not as comfortable as some of the Geo lenses that I've wore. These lens are generally okay, better than Freshlook Colorblends when it comes to comfort.

This is an up close picture! its very light... :)

Maxim Contact Lens - Hazel

For the month of September, I tried on the Maxim Contact Lens - Hazel...

The color is very subtle and its safe to use for work... But I had problems with these set of lens. Apparently, I can only wear it for a few hours and it started to itch like crazy!

I concluded that these lens could be defects and I was so disappointed!

These lens have the enlargement effect which I like. Its only 14.2mm but its properties are good enough for those enlargement which I need.

I am only sad and appalled that I could only wear these lens for 2 days and it started to itch really crazy that I had to take it out and my eyes started to turn red. Bummer.

These what the lens look like and the blue box! SO SO SO disappointed with the defects but I will be definitely grab again one of these for work purposes! Its a very nice dark brown color.. I won't called it hazel though...

Aniways, I found a picture which I like when I was wearing the Maxim Contact Lens in Gray.

My reviews for the lens here!!! Maxim contact lens in gray.
I don't really like the gray lens... Give me Freshlook Colorblends in Gray, anytime...

Green lens

So, I bought these lens way back this year. I can't remember when exactly but I was in Batam.

I can't remember how much it cost, but what I like abt the lens is because of the color as well as the details of the lens at the limbal rings... It has SPIKES at the edges of the lens. LOVE it!

That's the brand - Qrious.

I really love the color and it looks amazing! Its very vibrant and the color suits my skin tone a lot!
BUT, the comfort level is so ANNOYING! I wore it for 4 hours and it hurts like a bitch!

I remembered I was out the other day and the lens keep shifting and ended up hurting my right eye that I had to take it out! ANNOYING much!

So, yes.. This is probably why I don't trust contact lens that does not have a substantial branding... Sucks to the max!

Freshlook colorblends green review

For the month of October, I decided to pop this baby IN! Freshlook Colorblends in GREEN!...

Honestly, the color is VERY dark on my eyes. You can't hardly see them if you are indoors. But it looks pretty when you are outdoors.

This shot was taken without flash, but during the DAY, when the sun was SUPER bright and as you can see, the green lens are rather dark in color.

Personally, these lens are very safe for work. Its very dark, and people won't even tell that you are wearing them. My friend who usually takes notice of my eyes, can't even tell whether I was wearing colored lens and she had to look closely cos yes, it is that DARK green.

So, I'm not a fan of its color, and neither AM I a fan of the comfort... So I won't be purchasing these babies ever again. I would rather buy the pure hazel, which is SO much lighter in color!

For the color lens to be obvious, you have to use a lot of bright lights or simply go outdoors instead of staying indoors, cos the color won't show that much! ;)

Freshlook colorblends GRAY review

A bit of color contact lens history.. I started wearing them when I was like 17, and I stopped when I started working. I LOVE colored contact lens back then and I remembered that my first colored contact lens were from FRESHLOOK Colors in Gray.

Well, they don't have that anymore and currently features the Freshlook Colorblends series.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Gray/Grey colored contact lens. Personally, it suits Asian skin tone very well.

I love the color and details of the lens itself! It has like 3 different tones. Loves it!

It doesn't have that thick limbal ring which some of the colored contact lens users preferred, and though I have to admit, I'll prefer to have a slight obvious limbal ring for this color.

My reviews:
COMFORT (7.5/10)
I would say, its better than the Freshlook Colorblends Pure Hazel. Weird actually, but for comfort wise again.. NOT A FAN! :P

COLOR/DESIGN (8/10):
I absolutely ADORE the color! It brings out your eyes which somehow made it sparkle! My close friends told me that its very subtle and looks really amazing.

During the night, its not that obvious, unless you are taking a picture using flash. But for a day wearer, its absolutely gorgeous! The gray blends very well with those users who owns dark or practically black colored eyes!

And no, these lenses doesn't enlarged your pupils' eyes.

If you are using those Digital camera, you don't have to worry. The colors will be very obvious during the shoots.

If you are using iPhone or like myself a Samsung galaxy S4, the colors turned out quite well! I'm surprised!

Will I be buying this color again? Not sure. If I have another gray lens which is better in comfort, I won't come back to Freshlook. But the color is simply stunning! A huge fan of the color, not the comfort.

f(x) - rum pum pum pum

Female KPOP group, F(X) spotted with colored lenses from their video Rum Pum Pum!

Krystal is seen wearing aqua or turquoise colored lens. She looks good in them!

She then switched it to brown for some of her personal video shots. I have to add, she still looks good in the turquoise colored. Don't you agree?

Amber, however was spotted wearing 2 different colors for her eyes. It makes her look stunning and it seems that she is able to carry off very well with the 2 different colored eyes look!

There are people with 2 different colored eyes which is also known as : heterochromia. As for Amber, her new hair color and her style fits perfectly with both brown and turquoise colored lens. I guessed she can't decide which color to use, and try them on in each eyes.

Good effort from her!

Their music here!

Freshlook colorblends pure hazel review

Hazel eyes:-
Hazel eyes often appear to shift in color from a brown to a green. Although hazel mostly consists of brown and green, the dominant color in the eye can either be brown/gold or green.

One such celebrity with hazel eyes is Demi Moore.

I love how her eyes appear green yet brown at certain times and angles. I've heard she has heterochromia, meaning she has 2 different eye colors. I read somewhere that either her right or left eye is green and the other is pure hazel! HOW unique is that?!

I've been searching for a colored lens that can give me the Demi Moore's eyes look! I honestly hoped that I could get them through Freshlook Colorblends Pure Hazel.

Surprisingly, the lenses as you can see has a tinge of "yellow", brown and light grey (at the limbal rings) and I was so excited when I saw it. I feel that YES, these pair of colored lens will give me the pure hazelness which I am seeking all this while... (green + light brown) where it looks brown but green on certain angle.

My opinion, the color is a bit too dark green and appears brown in most of the pictures taken. Its not really a Demi Moore's kinda light pure hazel, more towards to a darker greenish, but looks brown in picutres kind - Get my drift? Hahahah...

Here's a close up!

Though my friends commented that I looked awesome in these lenses and most of them said that it looks green, however pictures turned out to be more brown and it is not that obvious. So if you want to have a colored changed to your dark eyes without being too BOLD, this colored will suit you perfectly well.

My reviews:
COMFORT (7/10)
Today I wore it for more than 9 hours! My eyes get dry and irritated at about the 8 hours mark! It is comfortable but I honestly feel that GEO lenses are FAR more comfortable compared to Freshlook.

I LOVE Geo Lens. It feels like there's nothing in your eyes. Somehow, Freshlook colorblends make me feel a slight discomfort, not that I mind, but for comfort wise, I feel Geo Lens beats it hands down!

COLOR/DESIGN (6.5/10):
Not to excited about the colors, though I wish it was a bit lighter. Its very safe to go out for work. At night, you won't even notice it, because its so dark. So if you want to camwhore with these colored lens, it won't do you much justice I guessed...

And no, these lenses doesn't not enlarged your pupils' eyes. So yeah. I was so looking forward to use these lenses but in the end, I was slightly disappointed. Was hoping to get a much lighter, natural looking pure hazel colored lens.

I sincerely hoped that one day, I could find them!

I do noticed that some users have good reviews, probably because their eyes are very light in color to start off with. Mine is really dark brown, almost close to black!

With a lot of light, and probably a good camera, you can see the "brown" lens captured. Otherwise, its very dark from a distance and not that noticeable.
