Korean Lens (Geo CM902)

2015... Its a brand new year,,,
And I have a review on the latest colored lens from Korea... The biggest circle colored contact lens in Korea - The Geo series.

*Disclaimer
I did not shave... LOL.. and I did not edit the pics. No filter at all. Taken from my iPhone.

These are the specification
Lens: Geo Contact Lens
Model : CM902 aka Tri Color Brown aka Berry Chessy
Diameter : 14.2mm
Base curve : 8.60mm

There are a lot of reviews and a lot of wearers have nothing but praise for these lens! Yes. It is very hazel in color. At times, it has that tinge of green and light brown. I would have to add, it is much lighter than Freshlook Colorblends Hazel.

I would say the color is very natural, unless someone literally comes into your personal space. It is not as comfortable as some of the Geo lenses that I've wore. These lens are generally okay, better than Freshlook Colorblends when it comes to comfort.

This is an up close picture! its very light... :)

Freshlook Colorblends Pure Hazel (part II)

I know the pictures did not turn out the way I wanted, and its not justifiable because I'm using my iPhone 4S. Ironically, a lot of people that I came across gave good feedbacks and commented that my eyes look very nice.

So I was wondering how come I did not see that when I looked in the mirror, because all I see, is a very dark green or brown at times.

Therefore, I took my trustworthy Nikon D5000 and began to shoot some pictures.

This is the lighting from my room, and of course, most of the lighting that I encountered most of the time. So the color is that accurate.

This is when I used the flash! The flash caught me by surprise actually. I just came out of the shower when I took that shot!

I honestly feel this shot is much better than the previous entry! And my eyes did not look or appear so tired! SO yes.. These are much better quality pictures!

Aniways, it is the 4th day that I'm wearing this lenses and I still have to admit that they are the most uncomfortable colored contact lenses that I've ever worn! I don't know! Ever since I've tried Geo lenses and Maxim Colored contact lenses, this pair is not even on par to comparison when it comes to comfort! It doesn't feel that it sting your eyes or anything, it just feel "uncomfortable" like you want to take the lenses out - kind.

Plus, I don't feel that my vision was sharp and it gives me quite a blur vision at certain time of the day, AND it makes your eyes feel tired. I don't know even know why.

Other than that, YESH, I am sold that the color is very natural and nice! It has that tinge of green and brown which I like, THOUGH, if its a little bit lighter, I WOULD love it even more!

Will I purchase this color again? I AM not so sure. The color is nice, but the comfort level is SO not in favour right now.

I'll think about it. If I can find another lenses that has this color, but slightly lighter and more comfortable, I'll go for that. As for now, I'll be flashing this colors for the next month or so.

It does not give any enlarging effect, even though the diameter is 14.5mm. Surprisingly for me cos Freshkon Alluring eyes is 14.2, but it makes my eyes appear bigger! SO, I'm not sure why these lenses do not give you an enlarging effect!

Some random shots:

Don't expect the colors of your eyes to be "prominent" when you use your iPhone or your camera phone. It won't show much. Even with a good digital camera, it won't show if the camera is rather far.

If I have to choose between Freshlook vs Freshkon:-
Color wise : Freshlook wins
Comfort wise: Freshkon
Enlarging effect: Freshkon
Varieties: Freshkon
Natural looking: Freshlook

Why do I compare these 2 lenses? Because its very popular among Asians and colored contact lens users in Singapore.

Freshlook colorblends pure hazel review

Hazel eyes:-
Hazel eyes often appear to shift in color from a brown to a green. Although hazel mostly consists of brown and green, the dominant color in the eye can either be brown/gold or green.

One such celebrity with hazel eyes is Demi Moore.

I love how her eyes appear green yet brown at certain times and angles. I've heard she has heterochromia, meaning she has 2 different eye colors. I read somewhere that either her right or left eye is green and the other is pure hazel! HOW unique is that?!

I've been searching for a colored lens that can give me the Demi Moore's eyes look! I honestly hoped that I could get them through Freshlook Colorblends Pure Hazel.

Surprisingly, the lenses as you can see has a tinge of "yellow", brown and light grey (at the limbal rings) and I was so excited when I saw it. I feel that YES, these pair of colored lens will give me the pure hazelness which I am seeking all this while... (green + light brown) where it looks brown but green on certain angle.

My opinion, the color is a bit too dark green and appears brown in most of the pictures taken. Its not really a Demi Moore's kinda light pure hazel, more towards to a darker greenish, but looks brown in picutres kind - Get my drift? Hahahah...

Here's a close up!

Though my friends commented that I looked awesome in these lenses and most of them said that it looks green, however pictures turned out to be more brown and it is not that obvious. So if you want to have a colored changed to your dark eyes without being too BOLD, this colored will suit you perfectly well.

My reviews:
COMFORT (7/10)
Today I wore it for more than 9 hours! My eyes get dry and irritated at about the 8 hours mark! It is comfortable but I honestly feel that GEO lenses are FAR more comfortable compared to Freshlook.

I LOVE Geo Lens. It feels like there's nothing in your eyes. Somehow, Freshlook colorblends make me feel a slight discomfort, not that I mind, but for comfort wise, I feel Geo Lens beats it hands down!

COLOR/DESIGN (6.5/10):
Not to excited about the colors, though I wish it was a bit lighter. Its very safe to go out for work. At night, you won't even notice it, because its so dark. So if you want to camwhore with these colored lens, it won't do you much justice I guessed...

And no, these lenses doesn't not enlarged your pupils' eyes. So yeah. I was so looking forward to use these lenses but in the end, I was slightly disappointed. Was hoping to get a much lighter, natural looking pure hazel colored lens.

I sincerely hoped that one day, I could find them!

I do noticed that some users have good reviews, probably because their eyes are very light in color to start off with. Mine is really dark brown, almost close to black!

With a lot of light, and probably a good camera, you can see the "brown" lens captured. Otherwise, its very dark from a distance and not that noticeable.
