Freshkon colors fusion - groovy green

If my memory served me well, I did write my review on the freshkon colors fusion - groovy green. But since I enjoyed the color so much, might was well show it off with a much clearer picture!

I have to say, this is probably one of the nicest green contact lenses from Freshkon. The color is not that opaque and its quite safe for work purposes.

Maxim Contact Lens

In Big Color Eyes - GRAY!

This is probably the most decent shot after several takes, in very bright lighting. I had to use the light that is shinning outside from my house.

I can't remembered when I had these. Its probably very long time ago. And the main reason why I didn't do the review any sooner, because I find that the color is very boring and not that obvious.

This is probably how it looks like, at the most natural set of lighting. Very safe if you want to wear this at work!

Of course, I am a huge fan of MAXIM contant lens because it is SO COMFORTABLE! I can wear this for more than 8 hours and it does not even stick to my eye balls! And I don't even need to use eye drops.

The only flipside is the color. I really think that its just TOO dark for my liking.

For enlargement wise, its only 14.0, but I feel it makes my iris slightly bigger. So, i'm okay with the size. Here's a close up.

That's the pattern, and it has quite an obvious limbal ring. That's why your eyes will look slightly bigger! But I swear, the color is not really that obvious!

Will I buy these again? Probably when I start working next year. But for color enhancement wise, NOPE.. I'll rather choose grey lens that are more obvious like FRESHLOOK colorblends.

Green lens

So, I bought these lens way back this year. I can't remember when exactly but I was in Batam.

I can't remember how much it cost, but what I like abt the lens is because of the color as well as the details of the lens at the limbal rings... It has SPIKES at the edges of the lens. LOVE it!

That's the brand - Qrious.

I really love the color and it looks amazing! Its very vibrant and the color suits my skin tone a lot!
BUT, the comfort level is so ANNOYING! I wore it for 4 hours and it hurts like a bitch!

I remembered I was out the other day and the lens keep shifting and ended up hurting my right eye that I had to take it out! ANNOYING much!

So, yes.. This is probably why I don't trust contact lens that does not have a substantial branding... Sucks to the max!

Freshkon Color Fusion in baby aqua is currently my new eye color for the month of August! ;)
And as usual, FRESHKON is very, VERY comfortable in my eyes.

Managed to grab these babies at VERY AFFORDABLE and really out of the sale kinda purchase! I got 4 pairs for the price of $60/-!!! THAT is like SUPER CHEAP!!!...

Where can you get cheap colored lens from Freshkon at such prices?!?!...

Honestly, I LOVE this color! Its a mix of turquoise and opaque blue... I find it more towards to bluish grey...

The color is simply gorgeous! :)

Geo Circle Lens from Korea!

So I believed Geo Nudy Soul is quite the latest range that has come out from the Geo Medical Contact Lens family because I don't see much reviews or write ups from these models.

Last year, I won a contest (courtesy from http://softlens-shop.blogspot.sg/) Thanks dear!
And I've decided to try Geo Nudy Soul - in Choco Brown (AN A44). I thought I will be starting my working adult life that soon, so I was hoping to have a colored lens that its not too obvious and in your face.

So this is what it looks like in the promotion ads. Its hard to find reviews for these lenses. Even youtube does not have any features on Geo Nudy Soul series. So when I got these babies way back in January 2013, I was so excited when I saw the color!

It looks very light now doesn't it! I always wanted to have a lighter shade of brown for my dark eyes. Let's go on with the specification.

Though these lenses stated that its "yearly" ones, but I don't think its yearly. Cos I had those in kiwi green (check out my reviews) and I only used it for about 2 months or so. SO I DOUBT its a yearly brand.

Just like the kiwi green, its comfortable and I can wear it for more than 7 hours daily without my eyes feeling dry. But for color wise, I am not sold! Its not as light as I want it to be!

When I take photos, it does not appear too obvious, unless its a close head shot! But I can guarantee that it is very safe work work! You can wear these babies without fearing that your boss or supervisor will keep staring at your eyes and feel something amiss or you will conscious about your eyes being too NOTICEABLE!

My friends noticed the change of my eye colors but its not a very BOLD, dramatic colors like I used to have, like my favourite Maxim Kiwi green or Freshkon Cool green which is very opaque and light!

As for enlargement wise, it works well for me since its 14.2 as my iris is so small! My eyes look instantly bigger, more awake and attractive.

SO YES! I will highly recommend these babies if you are working and you do not want to have your bosses or supervisors staring at your eyes, or you feel subconscious about how you would look.

It does not have a super ENLARGING circle lens effect, but to me, I don't need those. SO if you are looking for those doll eyed, huge enlargement, these ARE NOT for you.

Does it look natural looking? Not if someone is in your personal space. From far, it looks okay. The pattern is quite subtle, but like I've mentioned, the color is not that light to begin with.

Will I purchase these again? Probably not! Cos I prefer a much lighter color. Still trying to find the right "brown" pair of colored lens which suit my skin tone.

Freshlook Colorblends

Guess what I bought across the causeway?

FRESHLOOK colorblends contact lens! It was such a good offer! 1 box is going at RM60.00 and if you get 2 boxes, you will get ONE free box...

So, do the maths RM120.00 for 3 boxes and if you do a conversion, that's about $16.00 SINGAPORE DOLLARS! Here in Singapore, the sales that I've seen are going at $88.00 for 4 boxes ($22.00 each). SO EXPENSIVE...

I bought it at Aeon Shopping Mall at Bukit Indah, Johore Bahru. These are the top 3 colors that I have always wanted to try.

Ironically, the first ever paired of colored contact lenses that I bought way back when I knew how to insert one, were from Freshlook Colors. They no longer carry those anymore. I used to love their gray and since I am in love with green, I have to grab the green ones.

And of course, Pure Hazel is one of the favorite colors here and its one of the most natural colors for Asian skin tone. I can't wait to try on the Pure Hazel!!!

And as usual, the packages of the product! I CANNOT WAIT to try these babies on!

Freshkon Alluring Eyes - Magnetic Grey

Okay, so I finally maxed up my mistry grey and groovy green from freshkon. Apparently, I managed to use them for about 2 months! *applause

So today, my review will be from another Freshkon contact lens, the Freshkon Alluring Eyes series in Magnetic Grey!

That's the packaging and how it looks like in the lens cases. I'm so excited when I got these lens! Had a promotion while I was holidaying in Malaysia.
As you can see, its diameter is just nice 14.2mm and it fits PERFECTLY on my eyes!

So, these are the shots before I wore them and ONLY on my RIGHT eye! The difference is very much OBVIOUS! My pupils are consider small and I prefer it to be enhanced. 

Before my Magnetic Grey and when I wore them! What a huge difference it makes! Aniways, I have to say these are by far, my favorite lens when it comes to enlarging my eyes! The color is awesome! Its not TOO fake like when those who wore large black circle lenses and you know something is UP.. How come their pupils are so BLACK and fake!

Somehow, I don't get that when I'm wearing Freshkon Alluring Eyes - Magnetic Grey. Its very natural and the grey sits very well with my dark eyes. My friends can't even tell I did something to enhance the size of my pupils because the color is just subtle and very well blended!

So here's the last picture of how it looks like and the color! See how nice the grey sits and settles in? And notice how small my pupils are? Hahahahahahaha.

If you want to enhance your eyes and make it bigger and larger, this series is highly recommended! I wore them for more than 8 hours and it did not dry up my eyes. Maybe its because I'm used to Freshkon.

Its very comfortable for me, like any other freshkon colored lens.

Freshkon Color Fusion - Misty Grey

I've heard that one of the most popular color from the Freshkon Color Fusion is their Misty Grey!

So I decided to grab one since I know most of the colored contact lens wearer have tried the Misty Grey from Freshkon. 

 

I'm not really a FAN of the misty grey, because its not really that GREY to start off with. I remembered my first GREY lens are from FRESHLOOK and I LOVE it!.. Apparently for Freshkon, it does not quite deliver for me... I like grey lens that is very much opaque and ligther in color and when you wear your lens, it looks as though that your eyes just SPARKLE...

But I didn't get that in Freshkon Color Fusion - Misty Grey series. 

Apparently in pictures, it looks pretty subtle and not that noticeable, which I don't really get it, especially when you are wearing "grey" lens. For me, grey lens have to look very vibrant and people would want to look into your eyes - kind.

So I did an experiment using FRESHLOOK color fusion - Groovy green and Misty Grey, and decided to wear them for 1 whole month. So, I decided to wear GREEN on my RIGHT and GREY on my LEFT...

So, I read up about a condition called heterochromia and it is when a human beings have 2 different color eyes, and so I THOUGHT since Misty Grey is not THAT obvious, why not give it a try?

And so, during Chinese New Year, even my friends did not know that I had HETEROCHROMIA!!! I was practically wearing GROOVY green on my right eyes and Misty Grey on my LEFT eyes for the whole 2 months. AND no one even NOTICED that I had 2 different colored EYES!!! *smacks forehead

When I asked, some of them said, both of my eyes look grey, at times my friends said they were green, since I love green lens... So yes... The misty grey is NOT that obvious to begin with.

So IF you do want to grab either green or grey, it does not matter. Both colors are very subtle to begin with! If you are daring enough to mix them up like I do, (hehehe) DO SO!... and see if your friends or other people pay notice!

Freshkon Color Fusion - Groovy Green

I love green lenses and for those of you who want to try a nice, yet not striking or opaque green, should definitely grab freshkon colors fusion - Groovy Green!

I'm quire neutral with the color. Its dark green in color, and it looks subtle not too glaring like in your face kind. Received a lot of compliments when I was wearing it.

Geo Nudy Soul vs Maxim Colors Contact

Korean brands of Contact Lens!
So we have the famous GEO medical lens vs quite a new product Maxim Colors Contact.
Both from South Korea and of course, Geo medical lens have been around and have built a solid reputation.
Where else Maxim Colors have been making its way in the Asian market, especially in Thailand where its one of the most popular colored contact lens there!

Since I've both of them and had tried them on, I realised both of them are quite similar especially in color! At first when I was wearing them, I couldn't really tell what's the MAJOR difference of these 2 lenses.

The only concrete and visible evidence is that Maxim Colored Contact lens are more vibrant and the color is slightly lighter and a bit opaque, compare to Geo Nudy soul which is very much subtle and softer in color. Really, I couldn't really tell the difference that much!

Honestly, if you ask me now, I can't really tell which ones are my favorite, but I have to say since Maxim Contact Lens in Kiwi comes with a degree, I have no choice but to declare it a WINNER, because Geo Nudy Soul in Kiwi currently has no power (plano) and like I've mentioned earlier, I don't really like my colored lens in plano or with no degree cos its very blurry for me.

So I always bought my lens with a (-0.5) degree.

Maxim Contact Lens

Hey! I've finally managed to try my new Maxim Contact Lens, the blue box - Big Color Eyes in kiwi on Monday!

This is how the packaging looks like! SO CUTE right?!...

Aniways, here are the specs!

Water: 42%
Life span: 1 month

For a 14.0mm you can't really expect your eyes to be bigger, but for me, I don't really needed that cos I already own a pair of Geomedical lens if I wanted to enhance my IRIS!

I was so excited when I see the lens! I love the kiwi green! It looks like a kiwi doesn't it? And it comes with a limbal ring  which I adore!... so here's my honest review on these lenses!

COMFORT (9/10)
I have to say, the Geo Nudy lenses are much more comfortable compare to my Maxim contact lens. Its not that Maxim is super uncomfortable, but Geo Nudy lens are more comfortable. Though I managed to use it for more than 9 hrs and realised that my eyes were feeling very tired!

Cos I thought since it's not really a "circle lens" I could wear it more than 8 hrs.. I guessed it depends, cos for Freshkon colors, you can wear it to a max of 12hrs!

COLOR/DESIGN (10/10)
I love love love love love the design so much!

It has a very nice green which I love, and honestly this green is much lighter and brighter color compared to my Geo Nudy Soul - kiwi!!! The color is more vibrant!!! I thought I will never find any other green lens that can match my Geo Nudy Soul, but I was wrong!

This is probably my favourite pair of Kiwi green lens!!!

ENLARGEMENT (7/10)
If you are thinking of buying these lens for enlargement, I will suggest you grab the Nudy Soul series or you can purchase the Maxim Contact Lens - the orange box series - Bigger Color Eyes! Their diameter is at least 14.5mm!

My sis is wearing the Big Gray and had tried the Big Brown before! It looks good on her!

Ok, camwhore time! 

What I like about these lens is that, the color is obvious, but its not like IN YOUR face kind!... Like my freshkon cool green, it was too opaque and even during the night people will notice that I'm wearing them. 

As for Maxim Contact Lens, Big eyes version - Kiwi, it's very subtle green and looks great, indoors, outdoors, the sun or during the night!

Just had a hair cut. I hated it when I trim my hair! Very difficult to manage! OKAY!... I'll have another review on a beauty product soon!
