Faceshop Facial Wash

So I bought facial wash from Faceshop at GMARKET, or qoo10 whichever deems fit, at a very good price of $15.60 for 4 tubes!!! That's like $3.90 for 1!... Oh well, there was a sale and I bought it like way back in October!

So I only managed to try it only this month! I bought the Herb Day 365 Cleansing Foam in Mung Bean Foam and Aloe Foam. Since I bought 4 tubes, I reckoned it will last me for 1 full year! HAHAHAHAHAH

HONESTLY, I love the Mung Bean Foam!

It smells really nice and the it leaves the face feeling clean and fresh, I swear! For someone who has oily skin, I really enjoy this facial wash!

 You just need to squeeze that much foam and then lather it onto your face!

Usually, I get high when I washed my face in the morning and especially after a hard day at school!

 After the wash, I feel fresh!

 Tee hee!

Shopping!

So my other 1/2 and his friends decided to bring me out to JB yesterday! I love when I'm being chauffeured around! And I love that place! Literally! Its like a shopping and food paradise! If I have like a $1000 dollars, I will like spend the whole DAY in JB to shop and just PIG out!

But then, I ain't got $1000, BUT I was quite satisfied with my purchase!

The first thing that I got was this slippers! I can't remember where exactly was the place, but it was somewhere in this MEGA mall in JB! And its only RM$16!!!

So next thing was to grab me my toothbrush. The thing about me and oral hygiene is that, I detest using the toothbrush for more than 3 months! I think its utterly GROSS when people don't care about their oral hygiene and keeps using it like what, more than a year!

GROSS! How many bacteria and germs are practically crawling inside those gums and teeth!

So I bought all the above items, including my toothbrush at Aeon Bukit Indah! That mall is DA BOMB! I literally love that place!

I bought a Biore UV 50+ face sunblock bcos you know, we all LOVE the sun, but we have to protect our skin from the harmful UV rays people! I used to wear face sunblock meant for babies! Hahahah... Bcos its damn good, and damn freaking expensive! I wanted to buy something at GMARKET, but decided not too, since I blew on my credit card last month! *sad

And I bought face masks! Like, it was on sale! I bought 10 packets and it cost me only 1 freaking ringgit!!! I adore FACE MASKS, and I was like spoiled for choices!

I never heard of the brand Savee before, and I was kinda surprise that the sale person told me that it was a product made from Singapore! http://www.saveebeauty.com/

So I guessed it is!

I was like a happy teenager all over again! My bag was filled with goodies and I can't wait to share my reviews!

Till then, school has been more than grant and I can't wait for it to end..

Geo Nudy Soul vs Maxim Colors Contact

Korean brands of Contact Lens!
So we have the famous GEO medical lens vs quite a new product Maxim Colors Contact.
Both from South Korea and of course, Geo medical lens have been around and have built a solid reputation.
Where else Maxim Colors have been making its way in the Asian market, especially in Thailand where its one of the most popular colored contact lens there!

Since I've both of them and had tried them on, I realised both of them are quite similar especially in color! At first when I was wearing them, I couldn't really tell what's the MAJOR difference of these 2 lenses.

The only concrete and visible evidence is that Maxim Colored Contact lens are more vibrant and the color is slightly lighter and a bit opaque, compare to Geo Nudy soul which is very much subtle and softer in color. Really, I couldn't really tell the difference that much!

Honestly, if you ask me now, I can't really tell which ones are my favorite, but I have to say since Maxim Contact Lens in Kiwi comes with a degree, I have no choice but to declare it a WINNER, because Geo Nudy Soul in Kiwi currently has no power (plano) and like I've mentioned earlier, I don't really like my colored lens in plano or with no degree cos its very blurry for me.

So I always bought my lens with a (-0.5) degree.

Maxim Contact Lens

Hey! I've finally managed to try my new Maxim Contact Lens, the blue box - Big Color Eyes in kiwi on Monday!

This is how the packaging looks like! SO CUTE right?!...

Aniways, here are the specs!
Diameter: 14.0mm
BC: 8.6mm
Water: 42%
Life span: 1 month

For a 14.0mm you can't really expect your eyes to be bigger, but for me, I don't really needed that cos I already own a pair of Geomedical lens if I wanted to enhance my IRIS!

I was so excited when I see the lens! I love the kiwi green! It looks like a kiwi doesn't it? And it comes with a limbal ring  which I adore!... so here's my honest review on these lenses!

COMFORT (9/10)
I have to say, the Geo Nudy lenses are much more comfortable compare to my Maxim contact lens. Its not that Maxim is super uncomfortable, but Geo Nudy lens are more comfortable. Though I managed to use it for more than 9 hrs and realised that my eyes were feeling very tired!

Cos I thought since it's not really a "circle lens" I could wear it more than 8 hrs.. I guessed it depends, cos for Freshkon colors, you can wear it to a max of 12hrs!

COLOR/DESIGN (10/10)
I love love love love love the design so much!

It has a very nice green which I love, and honestly this green is much lighter and brighter color compared to my Geo Nudy Soul - kiwi!!! The color is more vibrant!!! I thought I will never find any other green lens that can match my Geo Nudy Soul, but I was wrong!

This is probably my favourite pair of Kiwi green lens!!!

ENLARGEMENT (7/10)
If you are thinking of buying these lens for enlargement, I will suggest you grab the Nudy Soul series or you can purchase the Maxim Contact Lens - the orange box series - Bigger Color Eyes! Their diameter is at least 14.5mm!

My sis is wearing the Big Gray and had tried the Big Brown before! It looks good on her!

Ok, camwhore time! 

What I like about these lens is that, the color is obvious, but its not like IN YOUR face kind!... Like my freshkon cool green, it was too opaque and even during the night people will notice that I'm wearing them. 

As for Maxim Contact Lens, Big eyes version - Kiwi, it's very subtle green and looks great, indoors, outdoors, the sun or during the night!

Just had a hair cut. I hated it when I trim my hair! Very difficult to manage! OKAY!... I'll have another review on a beauty product soon!

New Snail+EGF Repairing Gel Cream

I am a huge fan of Qoo10! and there was a sale recently and I simply had to grab a box of moisturizing cream. It was on sale $12.90 for a 50g. Its currently going at that price now!... so do check it out!
New Snail+EGF repairing Gel Cream

It took 7 days for it to arrive at my doorstep! Very fast I consider, since its flown all the way from Korea! It comes wrapped up in a pinkish red packaging with bubble wrap!

I'll end up bursting all the bubbles! Hahahah.

It came with a free sample of repairing BB cream! Here's what the official product has to say:-
" Take care of your skin, keeping it lightweight, cool and refreshed! Low irritation skin therapy added with hamamelis virginiana extract, instead of menthol that can caused irritation!"

" Do you know that it has a snail slime extract contained! My review!
Smell
Surprisingly, I like the smell a lot! It has a very unique fragrance. Its funny how someone described in her blog that it smells like snail's saliva! And I went, seriously?! hahahah.
Nah, its smell uniquely fresh and it settles down very quickly!

Maybe I don't have a very hyper olfactory sense. So, it didn't affect me that much!

Texture

The texture is very light, not cream based. Very clear as you can see in this picture (sorry that its placed on my middle finger! Hahaha) and I kinda like that its not very oily, as you mostly get from most moisturizing cream.

It blends very well with my skin.

Always remember to the cream on your neck as well! Always massage the cream so that it will blend into the skin!

Overall 
I used it every morning and night! Cos you know, I am very anal about moisturizing my skin, especially in Singapore humid weather! Even though I have generally oily skin on my T-Zone area, but I religiously splatter my face with moisturizer as to lock in the moisture!

The BIG picture on the right is officially edited! I hoped after wearing it for sometime, my skin will have a very smooth and exude radiance! Hahaha. So no need to edit!

So far, I've used it for nearly a week now. I must say, I like the product very much! No problems with acne what so ever! (ppheeww...) cos I have quite sensitive skin! And though I have technically oily skin, but it works well with my daily activity where I just need to wipe it with tissue. The pic above is not edited, but I have the support of very good strong light! My skin is not that flawless.

Now this is edited! By the time I finished using New Snail + EGF repairing gel cream, I hoped my skin will need lesser editing and able to glow in pictures!

Maxim Contact Lens

So I've purchased the Maxim Contact Lens, the blue box series (Big Eyes) in kiwi and hazel!

My sis had influenced me to take care of my eyes and she constantly nagged of the "dangers" of wearing circle lens though I have to admit, I was more interested in what Maxim contact lens have to offer.

I guessed, one of the genuine reasons why I purchased them was because I needed to have an impulsive act of shopping with no particular reasons what so ever! Hehehe..

I tried to look around for any offers because apparently, the optical shop where my sis made her purchase cost about $24 per box and $46 if you grab 2 boxes! So, here I was planning to have my hair trimmed and I was making my way to Hougang One (in Singapore) and passed this shop, i Observation Houste Pte. Ltd at #01-11 and they had MAXIM colored lens, and what do you know, I was greeted with a smile and the sale person (optometrist) was extremely nice and helpful!

So I queried about the price of the Blue Box series and they quote $20.00 per box (currently on PROMOTION people!!!), and I went, OKAY, I will grab 2 boxes from you guys, NO hesitation at ALL... though I was hesitated on which brown should I grab - its either the hazel or cocoa.

Prior to that, I was already doing research on my own and I saw the comparison between these 2 colors, though I have to admit, I will rather opt for the "cocoa" since it looks much lighter compared to the hazel, but I guessed, since I will be out on hospital placement this January, I will rather go on a safer side and chose hazel. I don't want to make unnecessary attention to myself when I am seeing my patients.

I haven't try it yet! I will definitely open the kiwi next week! Can't wait to show off my new kiwi lens from Maxim Colored Lens!

Aniways, for those who are interested in Maxim Orange Box (bigger color eyes), they cost $25 per box!... :D

My review!

I love the smell and the texture is very light. Not too oily and is easily absorb! I used it with my night cream. The only thing I felt was missing is when I wake up the next morning. When I used Lancome (used to), I remembered using the serum in the night and waking up with a very fresh looking face and my skin is so supple and when I washed my face in the morning, it feels so much younger!

I don't get that "same" feeling with this serum! Maybe its still new. :)) So how do I used it? I will pump 2 times and gently massage my face and neck and making sure that the serum is fully absorbed onto my skin, then I will apply my night cream!

I realised that if I washed my face in the morning and it appeared very dull and lifeless, I will pump 1 time of the serum and massage it on my face! It actually give a much radiant and fresh looked after! :D

Freshkon VS Geomedical

So here's a comparison for Freshkon Cool Green VS Geomedical Nudy Soul Kiwi Green!

The top lens are from freshkon cool green where else the one below are the geomedical nudy soul kiwi green!

Honestly, these 2 are my favourite green colored contact lenses!

The right eye is Geo - Nudy Soul Kiwi Green vs the left eye Freshkon - Cool Green.
My right eye appears to be bigger maybe due to the limbal ring which Nudy Soul has! But if you happened to look at the brightness in color, freshkon wins hands down!

Just another close up shots to show you how the colors fair! I still like both of my greens lens, but if I were to choose, I love my Nudy Soul Kiwi Green!

I need to style my hair! HAHAHAHAHA...

And if you happened to notice, Freshkon Cool Green appeared to be more fake and too dramatic because the green is very bright, where else if you notice Nudy Soul Kiwi Green is more subtle and looks much softer  and gives a very much bigger eye definition!

I know which ones are my favorite!... :D I should try going out with my 2 different green colored lens and asked strangers which ones suit me! Just for research purposes! Hahahahaha

Freshkon Cool Green

So I bought Freshkon Cool Green lens all the way back in August 2012. I had a good deal actually. It was one of the festive season, and they had an offer of 3 boxes going at $60 with one box free! That means 4 boxes of Freshkon at only $15 freaking dollars!... so cheap!

The one that caught my eyes was the cool green! This is the freshkon colors fusion edition.

I was so excited when I got this pair, BCOS ever since I had lasik on my eyes in 2008, I never once inserted colored lens in my eyes! Before lasik, my eyes were never my original dark brown colors!

Here's my review!

COMFORT: (7/10)

I remember putting it on for the first time, and I don't like the feeling at all! Maybe it was because my eyes need to readjust to color contact lens. It takes a while for me to feel comfortable and they haziness, blurry vision persist for quite some time. I totally dislike wearing it and it gave me a headache a few times. 

After a few weeks, it was getting better though I do feel that my vision was very blurry due to the lens. I was using plano, and I realised that I need to add a few degree (-0.5) for future colored lens! 

I can wear these lens up to more than 8 hrs without feeling my eyes exhausted! Though when it hit 10 hrs, I can feel that my eyes are tired and was craving for oxygen! Hahahah.

COLOR/DESIGN: (8/10)
I ABSOLUTELY adore the GREEN! Its very bright, and even in the darkest night or indoors, the color is very IN YOUR face kind!

For those who wants a lighter shades of green should definitely grab these lens! Its very awesome color though the minus point of these lens, it doesn't have a limbal ring. :(

ENLARGEMENT: (8/10)
It does make my eyes bigger... Its diameter is 14.2mm, but it sure makes my eyes pop!

So, for a monthly lens, I assumed that its pretty decent that you can extend its lifespan if you take care of it properly. I mean, I can wear these lens for nearly 2 months!

Geomedical Nudy Soul series - GREEN!

I am so deliriously excited to show you my favorite circle lens from Geomedical! Its awesome! I remember doing research on which Geo circle lens that I should invest in. A lot of people have recommended me the Geo Nudy Series, and I had to grab it!

As usual, I bought it from http://list.qoo10.sg/item/CONTACT-LENS-GEO-ALL-IN-STOCK/403567096 or the softlens shop for short. HAHAHA.. I love shopping at softlens shop! They are super amazing!

Ok, back to the circle lens. I actually bought it in August, but I only managed to try it on last week. The main reason why I took so long was because I was already wearing my Freshkon - Cool Green (which I will be doing a review later)...

So back to the lens!

I had such a hard time trying to take this shot! The lens kept moving away from my view! HAHAHAHA.. Aniways, this is the Nudy Soul - kiwi green (AN A43) for those who wants to make their lives easier to locate the lens. When I saw the color, I was quite taken aback because it sure looks like kiwi, and I thought it will be too bright.

I absolutely adore this circle lens and I'll tell you why! My dark eyes blend with the kiwi green so well that it gives a very unique green color! And above all, it comes with a limbal ring which I ADORE!... I love circle lens with limbal rings! It creates a much brighter, bigger eyes! Don't you agree?

Now, on to the review!

COMFORT: (9/10)
I fell in love with Geo medical lens since I started using them! Hahaha. These lens are so comfortable! I can wear it for 8 hours without my eyes feeling tired or dry. There are no red spots or lines even after 8 hours of wear!

But if your eyes started to have those red lines, it means it needs oxygen, SO PLEASE take your lens out!!

COLOR/DESIGN: (10/10)
HONESTLY, Nudy Soul has the most awesome design! Its so subtle, only if someone stare directly in your eyes that you will notice the pattern. If not, it looks very natural and the color really suits those with tan or dark skin (like myself! yeah!) And the color is not like "IN YOUR FACE" kind, so its very safe to wear it during work, if you are scared that your boss will make noise or think that your eyes are too distracting!

ENLARGEMENT: (8/10)
It does make my eyes look bigger!

See!... though its only 14.2mm, but it makes your iris looks bigger, though not that HUGE!

My hair is in a mess!...
Aniways, I received so much compliments from my friend and I have been using them for only 4 days!

The only complain that I have is that they only come in PLANO. No degree available. That pretty much sucks for those who doesn't have a perfect eye sight! I can wear lens without degree, but I prefer to have it at least a -0.5 so that it will appear a bit sharp.

Because me and colored contact lens have this disagreement which causes my eyes to be very blurry and my vision to be a bit cloudy than usual. So I need to add a few degree to the lens.

Remember to check out the other Nudy Souls colors! My friends have it in choco brown and moon gray! They looked stunning with them!
